East St. Louis School District 189 will be hosting a Recruitment Fair on Saturday, April 16, 2025 from 9 am until 12 pm at East St. Louis Senior High School.
School District 189 invites you to a two-way, open dialogue with Superintendent Arthur R. Culver.
School District 189 offers Summer Programs for students who are current Kindergartners through Grade 8.
East St. Louis Senior High School will have several 2025 summer program options from two sessions of credit recovery to 21st Century. There will even be a band camp. Select read more for complete details.
East St. Louis Senior High School senior Pierre Walton has cemented his place in history, claiming the 2025 IHSA Wrestling Championship in Class 2A (165-pound weight class).
“We are making meaningful progress toward our goals,” said East St. Louis School District 189 Superintendent Arthur R. Culver. “I commend our school leaders, educators, support staff, and especially our outstanding students and their families. Their hard work and commitment to excellence continue to drive improvements in numerous indicators of student success.”
Parents and students can download the optional mobile app called "Versatrans My Stop" to track the school bus location and projected arrival from your smartphone. The app displays the actual location of the school bus utilizing GPS technology. It updates and adjusts the scheduled arrival time as the bus travels along the route. It also will show if the school bus has already passed the assigned stop.
